REHABILITATION SERVICES
The professional rehabilitative staff, including bilingual therapists, provides skilled physical, occupational and speech therapy in a modern, fully equipped department. Our team approach meets individual needs, whether it be short-term rehabilitation before returning home to the community, or staying to become part of the Hellenic family.

Our rehabilitation department is well-trained to treat the special problems of the geriatric resident, such as fractured hips, Alzheimer's disease, stroke and other medical conditions. We are committed to providing quality care so that our residents can maintain the maximum quality of life.

ALZHEIMER CARE UNIT

A newly designed and specialized 36 bed secured unit, opened in March of 2000 with its own Director, specialized care and activities. Hellenic's Specialized Alzheimer's trained staff believe:

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
The residents are as busy as they choose to be. The Activity Programs at the Hellenic are stimulating, flexible and evolving. They are fashioned to meet the ever changing needs of our residents. Every effort is made to see and respond to each resident as an individual with his or her own unique needs and interests, as well as gifts. To preserve vitality and the quality of life to the fullest extent possible is the ongoing commitment of the Activity Director and staff.

Arts and crafts, physical fitness programs and discussion groups are all coordinated through the Activity Department. Birthday parties, holiday socials, cookouts, and outings away from the facility are also a vital part of the activity programs.

SPECIAL SERVICES
The Hellenic Center recognizes that the spiritual needs of our residents are an integral part of their lives. Religious services are held on-site and clergy of different faiths visit regularly. We honor and embrace Greek traditions in addition to other faiths. Throughout the year, the residents of the Hellenic are visited by various church and philantropic organizations who come to entertain them, bringing gifts and many hours of joy and happiness.
